As details develop for our 2019 Camp, you will find them here!

Camp Rainbow Phoenix is an adult-facilitated and peer-mentored residential style summer leadership camp for youth ages 13 to 17. The precise location of the camp, somewhere within Durham Region, is kept confidential to protect the campers.

The camp is 5 days of learning, fun, and making new friends. The camp is being run from August 21 to 25, 2019.  Youth Leadership Camp focuses on building and nurturing the leadership potential and personal resiliency of youth in an effort to help them become agents of positive social change in their schools, families, and communities.

We have two official partners of Camp; the AIDS Committee of Durham Region, who has been a partner since day one, and our newest partner for camp since 2015, PFLAG Canada Lindsay, ON. We would like to thank both organizations for their involvement and support.

The camp is run by experienced volunteers (including educators, community leaders, and child & youth workers), and the campers attend for free, on a first-come-first-served basis, thanks to generous donations from our community sponsors. If you would like to support the camp, the only one of its kind in the GTA, then please consider donating here.
